What is the theme of the 2025 New Zealand Ball?
A JOURNEY TO MIDDLE EARTH! Be prepared to be whisked away to the mystical landscapes of Middle Earth, right from the heart of Bangkok. Dive deep into the grandeur and beauty of Middle Earth where fantasy becomes reality. Enjoy a memorable evening, with great NZ wine, beer, great food, and the ever-popular Kiwi band that will have you dancing your sox off! A silent auction and a huge raffle pool will complement the theme, so please bring plenty of cash on the night!!!
How much are the tickets and how do we pay/collect for tickets?
Tickets are THB 5,000 each. Payment must be made via bank transfer. Full details and instructions will be provided in the booking form. Ticket collection date/time will be confirmed via email in January. You will have 15 days to send bank transfer payment otherwise tickets will be cancelled and released back to others.
How will the booking of tickets be managed?
To simplify and streamline the booking process, we are using an online booking system for tickets available through our website.
What will I need to book online?
The system will require your name, email address and contact phone number.
What about meals or special dietary requirements?
All meals and dietary requirements must be confirmed as soon as possible
Is there a limit to the number of tables/tickets I can book?
We have worked hard to make more tables available, so this should not be an issue for 2025.
Can I register for only 2 tickets or do I have to book a table of 10?
Yes – you can book for a small number of tickets. You do not necessarily have to book a table of 10. However, please be advised that where you book less than 10 seats, we will allocate you the next best available table/seats.
Can I choose our table?
We will allocate you the next best available table.
Can I book a table near my friend’s table?
We will try our best to accomodate this request, please let us know by email at info@nzball2025.com
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes – You can cancel your table booking before payment. After payment, we cannot accept cancellations.
What happens if tickets sell out?
We have worked hard to make more seats available, so we do not anticipate an immediate sellout. However, if we do sell out of tickets, a wait list will be activated. Please register your interest to be on the wait-list via the online ticketing system. You will be contacted as soon as seats become available.
Is the Ball fancy dress or themed?
No – The theme's for the NZ Ball change every year, however the dress standard for this prestigious, gala event is ‘Black Tie’ or formal dress code.
Is there a special rate for guests staying in the hotel?
Yes - both the Avani+ and sister hotel Anantara Riverside Bangkok are offering special rates for the NZ Ball

Do proceeds from the NZ Ball go to charity?
Proceeds are shared between the NZ Society and the NZ-Thai Chamber of Commerce. In the past, we have jointly supported several rural schools in the Kanchanaburi region, the Thailand Hilltribe Education Project (THEP) in Mae Hon Song province and the Children of the Forrest Foundation in Sangkhla Buri.
